Experience & Skills

Since 1993 I have been working in the field of Interaction and Usability Design. And not only for web-based productions; but I was also leading the design for Theme-Park attractions, Government Department design productions (both in Europe and in the US), Offline Applications, Test environments and much more. 

I have well over 2 decades of experience in the Usability, Accessibility and digital design and development (UX/UI) industry. This experience includes hands on design work, extensive experience with CSS, SASS and LESS, but also with using front-end development work to actually make the design come to life. 

I also have extensive leadership experience being reflected in having been the VP of Technology for over a decade, and currently being the UX/UI lead and Development lead and Lead Architect of one of the largest e-Learning projects in the world with Educational Testing Service (ETS) leading a team with almost 20 top UI/UX designers and front-end and back-end developers in an Agile Environment that I set up as well.

I designed and developed the proprietary CMS system NOA / NOA:SOL that allows me to help create very flexible solutions for my clients like: Rutgers University, NJ Department of Education, BrickForce Staffing, Helix, Florio Perrucci Steinhart and Fader law offices, Mosaic Strategies Group and many others.

I designed, built and managed the e-learning platform (on desktop and mobile )  and accompanying CMS platform that was used by clients like: FOX Television, SiriusXM, Dole, Broadway Musicals (Sweet Charity, Chicago), Switzerland Tourism, and many others).

Created and managed multiple UX and design teams for ETS, World Online, G4 Connect, NedStat bv and set up multiple usability labs, style pattern guides and usability platforms.

I was the lead Interaction Designer for 'The Dream of the Panda' theme-park attraction of the WWF in the largest theme-park of the Netherlands; the Efteling.

I was the UX Experience Award Winner for the Bibliobus (interactive mobile library system for elderly) provided by the Dutch Royal Family (2005).
